Describe a dream you’ve had more than once.
For the past couple of years, I have been having different dreams but only one concept keeps on recurring, which is a high school reunion.
I might not be able to remember if they are all interconnected, but the idea that’s cropped up is all about the same issue of a great plan to have this high school reunion going.
Twice or thrice have I dreamed of standing by the door of our classroom in senior year, while talking to two other classmates on first, a vague and unintelligible topic. Then we shift the talk to a high school reunion plan. I know that it sounds a little weird to plan a high school reunion while we are still on high school, but the frame of reference is more of modified to suit the need of the setting [like standing by the door as a college graduate and talking the topic with my other classmates who are already professionals].
The dream starts from black and white, nothing clear which can be pictured out. Then the view is set to my hands tossing/playing with a coin in the foreground and my shoes on the background, giving the impression that I’m looking down on my garb. Then I look at the two classmates who are talking a little animatedly with hand gestures. I’m smiling at them and then the topic changes to the high school reunion.
I never figured as of press time on how the dream went on, for all I can remember is that particular scene when I changed the topic. The next images that will surface whenever I try to recall are not more than blurred images.
Looking deeper, I think this dream came from a longing which never materialized. Or maybe because I just miss my high school classmates so much. Either way, I associate too much thinking of our real [and failed] attempts to high school reunions to have produced these dreams. Sometimes, I’m thinking on how to get a muse for the dreams to be manipulated, shaped in a way that we want. That would be fun!
