I’m gonna not start this with another, ‘Last year was awful, really!’.. There were around a couple of resolutions that I was able to successfully get through. Like, playing computer games and stopping the emotional war.
It has been my habit to create a guide for myself; a guide for the plans and values that would lead me to each new year. This year, here are my resolutions.
1. Use time efficiently.Well, wisely would have been sufficient, but for the past years I have proven that it is not in my system — being wise. In obliging myself to be ruled out on the time element, I hope to become stricter in keeping a good use of time for anything. Less lates, more production. Though I’m learning this slowly, this still is my number one for the third straight year now.
2. Prioritize things.I will have to say this again: goodbye to “I’ll do you later”. Arranging my appointments and to-dos must be on the top of my daily mindsetting.
3. Study hard. Now that I’m back to school, I need to give it more of A++ effort, but I was unsuccessful in implementing this last semester. Nevertheless, keeping the focus and being goal-oriented will definitely help me check out on this one.
4. Have fun!Last year, I limited myself to the thinking that having fun is as much as a stumbling block in doing good in studies/work. But this year, I hope to cope up (again). Fun does not necessarily mean partying or drinking hard, it just means giving myself a treat once in a while. Massage, dining in classy restaurants, coffee, spa, singing my lungs out, an out of town experience, malling with friends and shopping — I hope to do those things soon!
All right! Happy New Year!
Let us rock planet Earth this year!
